The Teacher Academy Program is a supportive program. It is a great opportunity for me to approach my American dream and career goal, which is to become an extraordinary math/science teacher. I enjoy my college life at CCNY, especially as part of Teacher Academy Program.

My participation in the Teacher Academy Program gives me the utmost confidence that I will be ready to engage high school students in the science curricula upon my graduation. The program’s cohort system networking aspiring teachers with expert middle and high school teachers and esteemed City College faculty invaluably supports my endeavors. I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of it.

The Teacher Academy not only has allowed me to have a first hand experience in teaching and a clearer understanding of what the career is about, but it has given me the opportunity to build life long relationships with other people who are interested in the same career path as I am. It has given me the educational and emotional support I need to suceed in college.
